– GOWN PRESERVATION –

Your wedding dress, is probably the most expensive dress you will ever purchase in your life; you want to ensure that it remains in the best condition possible. We recommend cleaning and preservation for your wedding dress as soon after your wedding, to prevent yellowing, permanent creasing risks, oxidation spots and mold. Our wedding gown preservation experts have specialized in the conservation and care of wedding gowns since 1913. For over a century, the “Wedding Gown Preservation Co”, has been using cleaning methods proven and recognized by the International Fabric Institute as the best methods in the gown preservation industry. All wedding gowns are professionally cleaned and preserved by certified specialists. Please give as a call, or simply stop by our store to drop off your gown and we will take care of the rest for you.

We welcome gowns that were not purchased at our store, for dry cleaning and preserving.

– ALTERATIONS –

To ensure that your wedding dress or bridesmaids dress fits you like a glove, some alterations are almost always necessary, weather minor or major. We have an in house seamstress with 25 years of experience in wedding and evening gowns whose knowledge and expertise will ensure a perfect fit. It is important that not only you bring your gown to your appointment with our seamstress, but also, the undergarments, shoes, and accessories you plan on wearing the day of the wedding. With all of the pieces in place, it’ll be easier to envision your overall wedding day look — you should have your undergarments and shoes on hand in order to obtain the proper fit and length of your gown, and your hair accessories or veil will help ensure you’ve got the right balance. If you don’t have the exact shoe you’ll be wearing, bring something similar in height so you don’t wind up tripping over your dress on your wedding day.

Please note the price for alterations, varies depending on the work that needs to be done in  each dress. This price is separate from the price of the dress itself.
